To enable the ability for a potential buyer / bidder to ask a public question, the option will need selecting in your Member Area.
To enable this, in the left hand side Members Area Box, go to "Selling" and click on "Prefilled Fields". At the bottom, put a tick in the box for "Accept Public Questions".
Untill this option is selected, any questions asked, will remain private between seller and bidder.
There could be a few reasons why your account is suspended. A few reasons are that you have reasched your credit limit and you have not paid your fees, your account is under investigation by the site administration or you have broken the sites rules and guidelines.
In any case, always feel free to contact the administration, and we will deal with your issue as soon as we can.
A current list of your fees payable to Aquatic Auctions are found in your Member area, My Account, and by clicking on "Manage Account". When you enter your account area, you will see a link by your balance which you click on to pay your fees.
A minimum limit is set, for when fees become payable and the link will not appear untill you reach that limit. You can pay your fees at anytime untill you reach you account credit limit or the last day of the month, whichever occurs first. All fees are payable on / by the last day of the month.
In the event that your account reaches its limit ( £10 ), then you will need to clear your account balance back to zero before you are able to post a new auction.
Yes. When you view an auction, you will find the box below the photos of the auction. Depending on whether the member has turned on public questions, you will either be able to ask a private or public question. If the member has not activated this option, your question will be private between you and the seller.
No, it does not cost anything to place a bid. For a buyer, fees only come into effect when you win an auction.
Aquatic Auctions provide a basic search facility, and an advanced search.
Basic Search
The basic search facility is located underneath the main forum navigation bar. Simply type in the item / name / brand of the item you are looking for, and click search. You will then be presented with your search results.
Advanced Search
To access the advanced search facility, click on the words "[Advanced Search]" to the left of the search box (or click here for speed). Via the advanced search, you can perform an Auction Search, Seller Search, Buyer Search or Store Search and fill out the search criteria. Click search and you will be presented with your search results.
Aquatic Auctions is completly free to join and browse.
No. Aquatic-Auctions only allows one member account per person. However, there is a facility to use if you do forget either your auction Member Name or your Password. The Retrieval form can be found here Username / Password Retrieval
Via this form, you will get an email to your registered email with the details you have requested. If you still have problems with your member account, then please get in contact with the site Administrator via the Contact us Form
If a member is found to have multiple accounts, unless authorized by the site administration, all accounts will be banned. No questions asked. This is a very strict rule.
